Hi,
I've recently determined that choosing "mp3lib" as the mp2 decoder in ffdshow results in a high pitched whine being added to the decoded audio. When I choose "libmad" or "aud-x", there is no whine, and the audio sounds the same as when directly decoded in applications like Adobe Premiere and Womble.
Anybody else had a similar experience? Is mp3lib ever useful?
Also I wonder, should I report this somewhere? I don't know where mp3lib originally comes from.
Cheers,
A
