Question about 5.1 encoding

Hi,

For 5.1 encoding, should the Front Center speaker be louder then the Front L/R and Rear L/R ?
Also, the Front L/R should be louder then the Rear L/R, correct?

For music?
It should be whatever sounds the best. Sometimes center even with fronts, sometimes much higher. Depends on the music! I often use between .5db - 1db higher center than fronts.
