I've just started with the free version and I like the results.
I'm interested in Pro esp for multi-core processing but I'm wondering
what the install policy is for the Pro version. I have multiple PCs and I also have multiple OS set up on some of them. I'd just like to get an idea of the license limitations before I spring for the Pro version.

I believe you're limited to five installs. Not sure if it's solely hardware based, or if it uses the OS too.

So I take it you're only supposed to install on a single PC?

If you are a licensed user of DVD Rebuilder, are not limited to
installation on a single system as long as installation is for
your personal use. However, your registered e-mail address is
limited to a total of five (5) concurrent unique SYSTEM IDs at
any point in time. Distributing your e-mail for use by others
may result in your removal from the DVD Rebuilder VIP list.

That's very cool. Thanks for the info. I'm glad to see more and more software being licensed for
"all the PCs you own personally" type of deal.

The number is reset back to 0 quite often, so if you do have puter problems or something of that nature that causes you to use more than your 5 diff keys, just e-mail jdobbs and he will reset you back to zero again so that all is well. It's that simple. :)

Thanks for the info. I set up and used it last night. Install was easy. Nice to see both CPU cores at 100% during video encoding!! :)
