hi everyone, im a noob and i dont know very good english xD

well my question is this

when im encoding anime, i always have videos like 1280 pixels, then i use the bicubib resize, or the lanczos4 resize to get the video to 1024 pixels... then my question is: what resize filter is better? mi videos always are in 900kbps in video and are like a 24min lenght... im asking this because in a episode, an arrow gets strange, with squares, like the resize isnt working properly, but everything left is perfect... well i hope a anwer. oh, and some episodes are like interleaced, they leave interleaced lines on some scenes, but they are progresive media... why?

btw, its my first mesage in doom9, but i always im getting info from here xD:devil:

Sounds like you are resizing interlaced material without bobbing or deinterlacing first. Post an image of 1 frame that is obviously wrong.

look, but is only on that frame and in another 3 scenes

and megui detects this source as progressive :S

(if you can suggest me a good denoiser and compresibility filter it can be better XDD)

It is interlaced, you cannot just plain resize interlaced video, you have to
Smart Bob it.
or Deinterlace it.
or Use my interlaced resizing technique.(in order of quality and inverse order of speed)
