How would I get rid of this "dirt"? This is just a megui preview, but I can post video result if needed (I assure you noise is still there).

Currently just using a very basic avs script. Deinterlace (Top field first) w/ yadif, undot and HQdn3D. No cropping or resizing, that's it.

You might have to post the video because I don't see noise there, it looks the way it should to me.

Eh maybe it's just me being picky... but it looks like "dirt" spots around the jawline, not only the chin.

Here's a quick 5MB mkv cut with mkvmerge

If that's normal then I think it looks horrible haha :D

Again, basic avs file... encoded with h264 CQ 22

That looks like edge compression artifacts from bitrate starvation, but it looks a bit weird so I could be wrong. Is that the source?

convolution 3d at stronger settings should take it out. others may have better suggestions.

I can post the source if you'd like (it's pretty big tho) but yea it's noticeable in the vob.

I used to use Convolution3D but I find HQdn3D to clean better. I'll give it a run tho.
