I trying to use the new function in dvd2svcd that´s allowing you to convert avi to svcd, but when I try to convert a divx sample the dvd2svcd converts the audio from 44.1 to 48 and the audio gets out of sync!

How do I stop dvd2svcd from converting it to 48?

Thanx

input sampling rate detection for mp2/3 (which I presume your avi has) is still a bit problematic in BeSweet (but it's after all just a beta).. if you can change the BeSweet parameters manually try forcing the input sample rate -ota(-fs441000) I think.. otherwise.. do the audio manually

I dunno if you can.. I haven't had time to test and of teh 1.0.6 releases.. check all the options.. maybe it's not possible at all.. should be somewhere in the audio tab if it's possible. As you may have noticed I'm pumping out new guides on a daily basis and when I'm not at school I'm working for the page and my day only has 24h.. will be a while till I get to work with dvd2svcd again.. I have a lot of other things planned

no you didn't. the problem is.. besweet analyzed the file and concludes it's 48khz while it's in fact 44.1khz.. I had the same problem yesterday when I was trying to do a mp2 -> mp3 in besweet.. and as you can see I chose to use winamp to do mp2 -> wav instead and then loaded the wav into gknot and ran lame.exe over it.

in fact, BeSweet only analyzed the file to see if it's AC3/WAV/MPA.
next version will also analyze Fs.

Ahhhhhh.... DSPguru YOU´RE A GOD!!!!!!!!!!

It works just fine now, just decompress the audio in virtualdub and hit the file in DVD2SVCD and you will end up with a perfectly divx => svcd coversion with synced audio.

THANX MATE........
