Is is possible to install USB on a thumb drive? I'd like it to be used to render video without the user installing it (which tweaks their registry and probably adds some system files). In particular, I'm looking at distributing some videos and a small problem that allows people to build a playlist, and would like to display the final video via Avisynth. (I realize there are other ways to do this, but Avisynth offers the most power, media players like jw_media_player don't offer fades and such, even if under slower computers avisynth will render slower than a flash or mwp player).
I suspect that this isn't possible, and what I'll have to do is distribute avisynth will its installer, and just make people install it first. Any suggestions on how to do that, and/or check to see if it's installed when they plug the USB drive in, etc.
Thx,
Tac
