Latest popular tools to author Standard DVDs?

With all this HD authoring (AVCHD, BR etc..) taking front page I have lost track of the more popular options for creating standard DVDs. I used to use DVD-Lab and ConvertxtoDVD but I was never that impressed by either. My basic need is to author DVDs from DVB-S standard def. mpeg2 captures. I use videoredo to do all the editing and now I would like a DVD authoring tools that will allow me to create the DVDs with a basic menu.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if it's the latest tool, but DVDAuthorGUI is what I use for basic authoring. I've made several DVD's with no frills menus and they've all played perfectly in all my standalones.
