Not a major problem but more one of me just wanting to know. When you are playing a film in powerdvd and you right click on the video if you go down to select menu there's then a list of the menus you can go to, title menu, root menu etc... now on the dvd im backing up you can select all the menus from the list but all except two work the others just stop playback in powerdvd, is there anyway for me to grey out all but the two that work.

Use Pgcedit
Mark the menu (e.g subtitlemenu) in left pane, right-click - set menu type -set to none - save DVD

You can try with PgcEdit.

Open Dvd, push button Edit PGC, and next push on button ... of Prohibited User Operations and check all you want to be prohibited.

I like alfixdvd's method better because there may be commands that call the subpicture menu, and if it is marked as "none" (ie not a subpic menu, as bigotti5 has suggested) then the navigation will be broken.

You can use Bigotti's method, but you should use Info -> Find Jumps to Nowhere in PgcEdit to verify if the menu was called and if something is broken. If PgcEdit finds broken jumps to the removed menu, it is easy to replace them by jumps to the same PGC number.
