Hi there!
I have a DVD which contains one movie split into a double layer (8GB) part and - on the backside - a single layer (3GB) part.
Eliminating the unwanted material (audio/comment tracks, bonus etc.) it would fit alltogether on one double layer without comression.
Both title title sets have the same stream formats (video, audio & subtitles)
How can I join the vobs and maybe the chapter menue?
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
One easy-to-use possibility would be TMPGEnc DVD Author...

DVD2One has a merge feature as does Nero Recode (IIRC). But the way I'd do it is with VobEdit, by changing the VobIDs of disc 2 to be consecutive to disc 1's and remuxing (see here (http://web.archive.org/web/20070321052642/www.ifoedit.com/joinclip.html#joindbl) for guide to joining double sided DVDs). You could re-author the chapter menus with a bit of tweaking if you were proficient in VM commands (using PgcEdit to add new cells from disc 2 to the chapter PGC) - see also the sticky on how to make a new menu.
However, if you wish a very quick way of merging discs, you can also try DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php), which has a one click merge function. The titlesets are separate but you'd keep menus from both the discs.

Many thanks!
First I'll try the hard way - Vobedit & PgcEdit - because it's never too late to learn something.
Thanks again and kind regards to both of you!

Hope it works for you - and while you're here, can I add my tremendous thanks for ISOPuzzle. What a great work it is.

@blutach
Thanks for your appreciation - I started writing this little program because I couldnt find something like this on the net.
Putting it here should be a little 'thank you' to the community which is helping everytime and leaving much more impressive tools for free :)
