I've got a Spyder2 Pro for photo editing. I was wondering if using the same calibration is optimal for movie viewing too?
Maybe I'm expecting too much out of my monitor as far as black levels go, plus the LCD will be 2 years old this Oct. It's a Viewsonic VX2025WM (real 8-bit).
I know some DVD players like WinDVD, PowerDVD love to use dynamic contrast and such, but in my view it's not truly how the movie was presented even though it 'appears' better. What do you guys think of those kinds of enhancements (off topic)?:devil:
