I am using the option in the nvidia drivers which sends all video fullscreen to my TV-out, which works great (in windows, would like that in linux too).
However, it sends the video as-is to my 4:3 monitor. Sometimes I would like to crop some parts left and right from the video, resulting in a fullscreen image which correct AR (but with detail loss, but consider that acceptable).
How can I achieve that?
If I crop in VideoLAN, the video on my monitor is cropped but not the output on the TV.
So, what I need is a player which can crop the image before it's sent to the TV-out. Anyone know something which allows me to do so?
