Hi,
Hope someone can help!
When I setup FAVC and click 'Generate DVD' I get...
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Documents\Config.ini'.

Click on details gives me the following...

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Documents\Config.ini'.


Perhaps that file "config.ini" is missing or couldn't be find, try to create one...in notepad and leave it in blank

Or you can try others, like

AVStoDVD - uses quenc, hcenc
AVI2ISO - uses CCE ( SP1 and SP2 ), quenc, hcenc, VSO, ffmpeg ....
DIKO - uses CCE, quenc....
D2MP - uses quenc
DVD Flick - uses quenc, hcenc
The FilmMachine - uses CCE (SP1 and SP2) , Procoder, quenc
etc.....etc

They all are similar, since they are a "second layer" - "conversion" tools, guis for those tools developed in Doom9 and others, with some differences that could adjust better to a user than another.
