Hi,
Can any xpert user help me figure this out?
Dvd2svcd process, after long hours of encoding, stops at creating the second bin file because of out of disk space problem . I never thought that this would ever happen :mad:. There were supposed to be 3 bins and 3 cues. It finished creating the first 2 cues, first bin and half of the second bin. Is there any way that I can finish up the rest of the second bin and the third bin/cue files without redo the whole process? Any help is really appreciated.

if you can make space...delete some files and you had the Don't delete files option checked then you can crash recover from the muxing cuttting portion. If not then use VCDEasy or TSCV to create (.bin .cue images) and burn SVCD from your bbmpeg_muxed.mpg files.

Hi,
I had the Dont delete any file checked and I've tried the crash recovery. But when I select the d2s project file it says "There is no need for a crash recovery at this early stage". How do I start from the muxing cuttting portion? Do I modify the d2s file?

Well, I've just finished creating the second bin file by reran the VCDxbuild.exe follow the command from the dvd2svcd_log.txt file. I've tried to do the same the 3rd bin file but the third xml file has not been created. Do you have any idea how i can create the third xml manually?

you can edit the d2s file. There is a line
ProjectPosition=XX
change this number to get the desired crash recovery step. Try anything between 30 and 60.

I started a movie in 104b2 and had problems muxing because I had not properly uninstalled 106b1p2 subsequently I installed 106b1p7 and tried the muxing.
The muxing seems to complete but the images and xml files are not built - tried twice.
Any suggestions on completing - it's a 3 hour movie and I'm not keen to start over.

You could just create a new bin file in VCDEasy using the 3rd mpg.
