Hi,

I have an .WMV file that uses WVC1 Codec as you can see below.

How do I change the audio bitrate? I need to lower the bitrate from 768 Kbps to 640 Kbps.

Please let me know all necessary softwares and steps to do that.

WME9 (Windows Media Encoder 9 Series) recompresses audio stream of your source into a wma file, then a accessory tool of WME9 - the stream editor reumxes the wma file and the video stream of your source into a wmv file that you want.

Exactly right.

And transcoding from 768 to 640 Kbps WMA Pro should have no perceptible audio degradation at 48 KHz.
