Hi all,

I've encode some m2v files from hcenc 0.23 with ac3 audio intact.

When I remux it with mplex 1.9.0 (mjpegtools 2.2.7)

The file cannot be accepted by vcdxbuild

Any help would be much appreciated

p/s:I've also try mencoder to mux the video and audio but with the same error.
when i try to burn the mpg file using nero svcd profile. It didn;t have any problem.
But without any chapters.

What's your mplex command line?

i've tried -V -f3 , 4 and 8

my video is 352x240(16:9) with 192kbps ac3.

I've notice the -f 3,4 8 all produce different size of mpg file.
Any idea?

p/s:
I've used ifoedit to author the files with chapters and burn it using nero minidvd profile.
It all went great. Suprisingly, both my dvd player can detect the 16:9 and resize the video accordingly.

My aim is to maximise the storage space. minidvd can be only burn with mode1 700mb(80mins) cd-r.
I try to maximise using mode2 form2 by using mode2cdmaker with all the dvd file structure but my dvd doesn't recognise.
I suppose it must be udf format.

So I resort to SVCD with chapters.
I just found out that my 16:9 SVCD doesn;t recognise by my dvd it just display 4:3 and without sound(ac3).

So most likely I'll abandon this idea of svcd with 16:9 video + 48khz ac3.

Thanks anyway for your help.
