Since AutoGK still has problems with encoding episodic discs and DVD Decrypter for the first time ever failed me ripping some titles of an unprotected disc I'm trying Smartripper. I always liked the fact that it can rip from folders rather than mounted drives and it works on those titles too. However, I don't get the syntax in the readme. So if anyone can tell me to how rip VTS3/PGC1 from a batch I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi!DVD Decrypter for the first time ever failed me ripping some titles of an unprotected discI'm sure that with your experience, you know that this apppears to make no sense, unless the disc is damaged or dirty - or you, without realizing it, have made a less-than-perfect rip..
If it's damaged, SmartRipper won't be able to process it either. If it's dirty, clean it - and try DVD Decrypter again.
Regarding the possibility of a less-than-perfect rip, what is the Title and Region of the DVD?

I've ripped the R2 discs of my original Lost S2 with DVDfab HD Decrypter, then made an ISO with Imgburn and ripped each ep separately (ca. 1.5 GB) with DVDD to process them in AutoGK. All 4 eps took the same amount time to rip but the first two resulted in only 90 KB (!) on my HD and only 3 and 4 were normal despite me having used the very same syntax on all eps. Never seen this happen before. Somehow DVDD seems to dislike the result produced by DVDfab when circumventing the copy protection. Curiously enough Smartripper did manage to rip those 2 eps just fine from my selfmade ISOs.
Since some eps on later discs also resulted in those weird small dir sizes I decided to use Smartripper for this one but I just couldn't get the hang of the syntax.
