I'm looking for a way to convert video to .flv (vp6) from linux (or FreeBSD) command line. I've tried ffmpeg (can't get vp6) and mencoder (can't set bitrate).
Anybody?

That would because ffmpeg and mencoder don't have a VP6 encoder; in fact, no open source implementation of VP6 encoding exists...

iirc, you can within mencoder and the vfw encoder from On2...
