Not sure where to put this, so hopefully It will be moved or answered here.

Ripped "The DaVinci Code" Complete disk rip to Hard Drive Using DVDFab HD Decrypter (Full Disk)

Re-Authored Main Movie, Audio and Subtitles using DVD Shrink. (Extra Step, I know)

Subtitles extracted using VobSub and Re-Synced using Sub Re-sync to 23.976 fps.

Subtitles saved as .SRT file saving only forced subtitles. (probably a case of cart before horse)

Loaded Main Movie Into DGIndex (version 1.5.) DGIndex set audio Delay at 75912ms and flashed a warning about excessive delay.

AC3 converted to 6 wav files using BeSweet correcting audio delay.

As expected everything was "off" Audio was incorrect, Subtitles were displayed late.

I have fixed audio delays in the past by cropping the DGIndex file by advancing several GOP's. How will this work with attempting to hardcode the subtitles. I could not find an option that activated the "append at" check box in Sub-Resync.

I attempted to re-authored the Main Movie using DVD Shrink, cropping of the first 10 Seconds and 3 frames and repeated the above steps, sans audio and the subtitles were still off.

Any suggestions on how to re-sync the video, audio and subtitles?
If I clip off the first few GOP's using DGIndex how many seconds do adjust the subtitles and how do I do that?

Hi!

Try re-ripping the DVD with RipIt4Me instead of DVDFab HD Decrypter...

The DVDFab programs have been noted many times, in many forums, for yielding less-than-fully-cleaned-up rips.

OK.
Its Fixed.

For those who are intrested or have had a similar problem.

Audio, Video and Subtitles were async no matter what I ripped with or how it was ripped. Eventually I ripped with AnyDVD (got same delays and offsets as the other rippers I tried.)

After re-authoring with DVD Shrink, I loaded the .VOB's into DGIndex and cropped off the first 20 GOP's creating an audio offset of -171ms which was corrected with BeSweet.

To re-sync the subtitles I viewed the movie in Cyberlink Power DVD and noted the time of a known Subtitle and then open the .SUB file in Sub Re-Sync and indentified the Forced Subtitle I noted before and remarked the time of the indentified subtitle and Sub Re-Sync changed the time stamp of all the other subtitles in the file.

Test viewed the AVS file in Media Player Classic to ensure that everything is "kosher" and it seem to work throughout the entire movie.

Hope this can help anyone else with a similar problem.

Glad to hear it's resolved ;>} However, you say:Audio, Video and Subtitles were async no matter what I ripped with or how it was ripped.Did you specifcally try RipIt4Me, as I suggested?

BTW - If you had performed a "Search" of the Doom9 Forum, you'd have found several threads addressing this specific problem. The following primary link will lead you one such thread:

Yea, tried ripit4me, I had to go out and download it, as I did not have it. Ripit4me choked on 2 cells on the DVD, promtped me to clean the disk and re-insert. Removed disk, cleaned the (IMHO) immaculate surface, and re-inserted. Got another error and it prompted me to re-rip, attempted and then it worked.

I tried search and found some tips, however, I generally attempt to use generic terms and had not thought to specifically search "DaVinci Code." my bad.

When ripped the audio delay was always ~75000ms unadjusted. Subs were always late, just like in the other thread.
