Hello,
Can someone point me to the right direction of Muxing an MKV file (with subtitiles) into an MP4 so I can play it on my PS3.
I tried numerous methods but still to no avail.
I was able to demux and extract the individual files from the MKV:
Video: .264
Audio: .OGG
Subs : .ass
Whats a good and effective method that may put these all together in one MP4 file?
Thanks.

Use MP4Box or one of the corresponding GUIs like YAMB
Dust Signs
As far as I know, PS3 still doesn't support subtitles in MP4. The latest software versions do support subtitle tracks in "DivX" files, but then you would probably need to encode the video with an MPEG-4 ASP encoder (DivX, XviD, ...). Another option is to hardcode subtitles to the video (and therefore re-encode it). Also audio needs to be converted to AAC. After both the video and audio are in suitable formats, they can be muxed to MP4 with MP4Box or Yamb (a GUI for MP4Box).

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
I have some (only some) MP4 Anime files that actually run in my PS3. So I'm trying my luck with this method...
Funny thing in YAMB, it will only ADD the .h264 file! The .ogg file refuses to appear in the textfield and the program wont even recognize the .ass file....
I tried to open directly the original MKV file in YAMB and it did detect all 3 files and showed them in the main textfield. However, when I click to proceed muxing an error appears saying the 3 "tracks doesn't exist".
I'm about to loose all my hair, hehe.
Any ideas?
As I said, you'll need to:
1. Re-encode the Ogg Vorbis audio to AAC.
2. Forget subtitles or hardcode them to video.

May I suggest reading the announcement (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=77) at the top of the sub-forum? (Yes, I copied and pasted, shame on me.) How did you obtain said animé files?
