Hi all

I have a number of h264 TS files that have some branding at the begining (company logo etc)...thing is...they've decided to now change ALL their branding.

So I'm looking for a tool that will allow me to trim and join TS files.

I've used h264TSCutter in the past and of course this was the tool I first went to. However these files I have to trim are over 1h 30mins and after approximately 30 seconds after opening the file and attempting to make a cut the program freezes and refuse to respond.

I've checked out a number of other tools that claim to trim/join the type of files I have such as Xilisofts 'Video Editor', Boilsofts 'Splitter' and 'Joiner'...but no luck.

Anyone know of any other tools (either freeware or commercial) that might perform the task?

Many Thanks

Did you try VideoRedo? I use it to trim .ts files and it works great. I also use Mpeg2Cut so try that as well. I don't have any specific experience with joining .ts files as I always record to a single file.

They're both MPEG2 only.

I need a solution for Mpeg4.

I've been cutting them with TSMuxer for some time.
But if you want a professional tool, try Elecard XMuxerPro.( for detailed cut you will need Elecard AVC Plug-in as well.)

Hi,
I use TSremux for my DVB HD (h.264) captures with success:

- use e.g. MPC to figure out trim points
- use TSRemux to apply the trim
* if you specify just a few secs to be remuxed that can be fairly fast and you get perfect cut points, write them down and apply them on the whole stream
** start with Trim Beginning: click the Trim End Hour up until the full length is shown
** input the desired Trim Beginning (from MPC check), reduce Trim End by ~10secs
** that way you end up muxing only 10secs trimmed at the beginning - FAST! - search for best cut point by adjusting
** do the same for Trim End: click the Trim Beginning Hour up until full length is shown
** input the desired Trim End (from MPC check), reduce Trim Beginning by ~10secs
** that way you end up muxing only 10secs trimmed at the end - FAST! - search for best cut point by adjusting
** enter the found cut points in Trim Beginning and Trim End and remux

Works very well, for me. All freeware!
