For want of my 7.1 audio

Pan's Labyrinth and Hairspray...they both have 7.1 DTS-HD audio.

After extracting the DTS core, I'm left with 5.1 audio. I'm not doing any encoding--just extracting. I want to use the original DTS (core) audio for my MKV. Is there any way to keep the 7.1 sound?

Are the missing channels a part of the "HD Data" that TSMuxer reports?

Yep, the core is 5.1 only.
