Educational videos and fast forward

Hi all,
I am building educational videos. is it possible to have fast forward disabled? at least for scenes where critical warnings will be shown...
Which format/player combination will allow me to set fast forward/skip properties?

To get you started:

It is possible in DVD authoring (with any decent program) by using PUOPs (prohibited user operations).

I'll let more experienced users propose a specific program/workflow.

You're welcome. I don't know about DivX, I was thinking about regular DVD that can be watched anywhere, even on standalone players. The "protection" could be circumvented, but it would need some degree of knowledge and effort (and time spent) from the attacker.

About DivX or other specialized solutions, I'm sure they exist, but I think they would be cumbersome to implement, and you would need to supply the player/application to your clients, teach them how to use it, probably will cost money...

Maybe if you provided more informaton how you imagine this to work it would be clearer (but anyway, I don't know too much about these things).
