Avc on after effects?

So my brother is learning after effects cs 3 but the export fomats that come with the program arent as good as x264, so I was wondering if there is a way for him to export his projects on x264.

there is no obvious way on how to frameserv (althought should be possible with some trick i guess), what i do is simply export to huff, then encode in separated step (using avisynth -> x264), from premiere you could easily frameserve -> avisynth -> x264.

p.s. If you have the bundle, then you could drop afterFx timeline to premiere and frameserve from there (at least in theory).
