Hello!
I have implemented some code to switch between SP and SI frames, and while decoding there is a loss of quality. The reason is because after encoding with (JM11 or JM12.3), the P frames in the SP bitstream and the P frames in the bitstream with SI frames are not exactly the same. But SP and SI frames should reconstruct the same picture and it does not work like that. Any idea somobody as of why this happens? Should I maybe use other versions of the encoder? Or are some parameters in the configuration file are not correct?
