.MKV to AVCHD with PS3 problem

Hello,

Thanks for you interest on my problem.

First, i have some .mkv in 1280x538 hd mkv file, i have try to convert with many software but my playstation 3 still put an green bar on the bottom.

I have theases softwares and make more than 7 days of work to try to correct the problem, but still stocked. I have mkv2vob, ripbot264, mkvdemuxIU and TxmuxeR.

I have try many other software. When i convert the mkv to avchd format, if resized in 1280x720 (originally 1280x538) image was stretch a lot. I know that i haved read on many forum that ps3 read 1280x720. I have an movie ripp avchd was in 1280x538 and play fine without green bar on PS3, and play perfectly on a home blu-ray reader!

So why when i try all the other software, but ps3 and home player has difficulty to read like one i have no problem to play.

Just to clarify, everthing like UDF 2.50 file structure is good and followed and are good. I have test on my pc with PowerDVD 8.0 and play well but on a home and ps3 blu-ray not played.

It took 20-30 hours to reencode for my 2.4g core2duo, but it works.

Great, i have starting the test yesturday with Ripbot264 with the borders. I try the formulla 720-538=192/2 96. Left somes hours to convert it. I will let you know if the Ripbot264 has perfectly done the conversion.
