Hey, I just ripped one of my dvds (pirates of the carribean) And now I want to encode it to a .mp4 or such to save on my computer so I can rewatch later, I got Megui and the .h264 codec and stuff installed and I'm currently in the settings (theres alot X.x) so I'm wondering which would be good settings for real life footage encoding, is there any guides or pre-made settings I can use?
thanks

if it's the first time you use megui, i suggest you to read the guides. if megui is too hard for you, there are also more "easy-to-use" softwares like ripbot264, automkv, staxrip... etc.
also, have a look here (https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=101813) for the profiles descriptions.

Is it possible to make files that are both iPod Video, and DXVA compatible?
