I have tried using ifoedit to change the colour of my subtitles, and my videos may well work with the correct white subs now in normal players.. but not in windows media player! strangely, even using the advanced settings in wmp to change colour of the subs makes no difference.. yet they dont show as green in the advanced menu and seem to play ok in other players. oddest of all, my purchased movies now all display green subtitles, so its definately no longer an ifo subtitle colour issue. does anyone know how i can fix this in windows media player? thanks

Hi!

Is it just that the subs are green, or are they also extremely blocky?

initially the problem was green outline and green fill in my own creations so almost unreadable, but when i corrected the problem in dvd author when making menus i found that all movies now display green subs in wmp, even bought movies! my own created menus and bought movies work in correct colours in all other pc movie players and standard non pc home players, so its a weird wmp problem. In media player subs are selected as white color in the advanced menu, but are still green no matter what movie disc you play. Lol

You might try performing a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly.

If that doesn't rectify the situation, you may want to download and install thhe most current version of WMP...
