Hey gang, I read a lot here but dont' post very often. However after a few days of searching and reading around, i'm not finding answer so I thought i'd post and see what if anyone could help me out.
This may sound silly to some, downright stupid to others, but it is something I want to try just to see. What I want to do is take an already decoded disk image of a blu-ray or HD DVD movie, and re-encode the movie into XVid in an HRHD form. I've found a couple of guides on ripping blu-ray (the test one I have is BR) but they've all required Windows applications. Windows under VMWare is too slow to really try this route.
Does anyone know if there is any software that will run under OSX (Intel) that can be used to do this? Any hints ,tips, or pointing in the right direction would be great.
Thanks for your time!
