No, that didn't make it for v2 unfortunately. If you use a capture card like an Osprey with hardware deinterlacing, that does work. And of course, most digital cameras support progressive modes these days.

Yes, any capture card that supports the normal DirectShow settings dialog will work fine with EEv2.

I just downloaded it last night and am going to be testing today and next week.

Is there any hope for software deinterlacing in the live capture area anytime soon? Also, it's my understanding that the Osprey cards only have software deinterlacing just like our Winnov cards.

Yes, this is definitely a feature we want to get in there. The team just didn't have enough time (it was on a very strict schedule, since it needed to be ready to ship with the Expression Studio 2 bundle).

However, any card that can do deinterlacing in the driver will still work, even if it's done in the software in the driver. If nothing else, this might be a feature opportunity for you guys :).
