View Full Version : Question about Adobe Encore CS3/Premiere
I just downloaded this program to try encore but I'm stuck in Premiere Pro and not sure how to proceed into encore or bypass premiere altogether. I just want to try the authoring software.

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately. I'm sorry for that. You may want to be careful about bumping your own posts however...I've gotten in a bit of trouble for doing that myself.. :P

If you buy premiere directly from adobe, you're able to return it within 30 days. You have to pay the shipment back to adobe.

you would clicky on 'adobe encore.exe', this are two separate apps..., what is the question again?
As far as i understand, the question was how to use Encore as standalone.
I have had a licence nowadays for Premiere which includes Encore.
Tried Encore as standalone. (It was already a standalone application before and still it is but sold as a part of Premiere)
You can import assets.
I've been trying to import *.264 or *. avc files to Encore for two days but i get this funny error pop-up:

I wrote to Adobe support and waiting the response.
(BTW, i made the trials with directly demuxed 264 files from 720p 50 HDTV TS streams and 1080p files ripped from BDs. It didn't accept any of them but i could import the demuxed files after i re-encode the original files with Elecard Converter Studio.)
