aight... imma off to try some more burning... BUT....

i am going to burn a dvd-movie (.avi-file, about 700mb) onto a dvd-r, but i would like to have the subtitle file included as well.. i've got an .avi and .srt file.

should i stick with 'convertXtoDVD' or are there any other preferable solutions? which application should i use to burn the movie to my dvd-r WITH subtitles?

also, which program should i use to burn a movie WITH subtitles in the movie already? like anime movies... they are subbed already, so no .srt file needed... which application should i use then?

will the quality be better whether i use a CD or DVD, huh?

i will be watching the movies on a regular dvd-player..

thankies for the help in advance!

ps: pardon so much if this've been asked a gazillion times before! couldn't find much using the search-function, so i have to ask...

If you DVD player supports DivX/Xvid and .srt subtitles it's very simple: burn both files to a DVD-R (or RW) and you can select the .srt subs on your remote

Just make sure both files have the exact same name, like

MovieX.avi
MovieX.srt

The best option is to include the subtitles srt file into the avi in xsub (image) format.
