I was wondering if someone could tell me how I could quickly make a video file with audio after I get demux with DGIndex without altering anything. I am using DGIndex to cut out commercials from my STB via firewire captures, and after I demux the video and audio with DGIndex, how can I put them back together?

I like using this program to cut out commercials because it is the best application to do so, always syncing the video and audio together.

Hey neuron2, is there a way to make multiple projects / batch projects with DGIndex. Right now I have to cut out one commercial, let it process, then cut out the next commercial, let it process, and so on. It would be easier if I could just position the markers throughout the show and process all of the cuts and demux all with the press of a button. Just a thought.

@drtj: Although it costs 50 dollars, I and many others like VideoRedo Plus. I am not going to post the links, you can easily find it via Google and get a trial version. The more advanced version (TVSuite) is more expensive, but right now I am fully satisfied with the standard version. I have not found any other software with the features it has - single frame thumbnails stripe below the main thumbnail, 85px in height, audio waveform, audio delay correction, frame accurate cuts, scene mode or cut mode (you can cut all the ads at once), really fast speed, program stream, transport stream, elementary streams etc. as a choice for output) and much more. Depending on your stream parameters, it can even find the commercials for you!

I have yet to find some other software combining all these features in one package. I have tried Ulead VideoStudio, Womble MPEG Video Wizard, Cuttermaran, MPG2CUT etc. A huge thank you to all the companies and individuals who made the mentioned (and unmentioned) software. BTW, does anyone know something else, really similar?

If you don't need frame accuracy, a good GOP level editor is free MPG2CUT:
