IFO Edit

What I'm trying to do is splice two movies together.

Can I append a .VOB file onto an existing VIDEO_TS file, and then use IFO EDIT to make it usable. I've tried by changing the .VOB file designation to the next in sequence, but that alone doesn't work.
I assume I have to change something in the .IFO's as well.

I'm a novice with IFO EDIT...I know it is a powerful, but I haven't yet mastered it.

You can append VOBs onto existing ones but need to change the VCIDs first.

There are some programs that do this for you. DVD2One can merge titles.

But I still like using VobEdit - see this guide (http://web.archive.org/web/20060515075320/www.ifoedit.com/joinclip.html).
