BMP -> AVI - Probs

Hi Y'all !

Maybe I'm too stupid, but I wanted to create an AVI from a series of BMP-Files with the new VD 1.4.8. I have no problems on loading the files, but when I try to save the AVI I get this error: 'Image file must be in Winddows BMP format'.

But I'm sure they are ! I tried to save them with Photoshop, Imaging and with ACDSee. But I always get the errormessage.

What am I doing wrong ?

Hi,
I think that there is a bag in the Virtualdub about loading bmp sequences. I solved this problem as follows:
Fist load .bmp sequences from file dialog box. Then on Virtualdub form Position Slider is on first frame(frame 0)
If you drag this bar(Position Slider) another frame (e.g second or third frame) with mouse or key ,you can solve this problem. But after click output playback key, you must play these sequences once.
