AutoGK is a favortite tool of Mine.
Download the current version I had 2 problems, one of which described in the subject line.
First I noticed that on one machine, installing AutoGK would not open the search function-- not for a long time-- not ever. Thismimicked a problem I once had with an installation of NeroVision Express.
So I moved the program to another machine. Here the search opened up ok but the program failed during execution.
After 23 minutes of looking at an AVI being compacted to 1/3
disk size the error generated was:
Exception: Cannot open file (pathname to my desktop)\agk_tmp\interlace log. The system cannot find the file specified.
Some setup detail appeared when I did not expect it to during the operation-- a license agreement for AVIsynth I think.
Anyway I okayed it but the program quit.
Is there an older version perhaps which is more stable?
The error you see is the last thing on the logfile after the initial analysis.
