Hey folks,

So - I think this Blu Ray is multi-angle, and I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to extract one big m2ts to wash through eac3to etc to backup this wonderfully cool movie!

Has anyone successfully done so? The playlists in BDEdit.exe seem wierd. There are hundreds of M2Ts files, 5 of which are over 2 GB.

I'm new to Blu Ray. Spoiled by the simplicity of HD-DVDs I guess...

Help me backup my first BluRay! Ideally I want to just remux the main movie and the TrueHD track. I will (maybe) make an SD-DVD out of it, we'll see.

Thanks folks,

~MiSfit

I believe the newest version of TSMuxer can read the .mlps playlist file, although I personally haven't had a chance to mess with that. Check out the slysoft forums and search for the playlist of this blu-ray, they may have it there, i've gotten lucky with some of the more popular multiple .m2ts titles (ratatoullie has about 25 separate feature .m2ts's). If you cant find it and cant figure out how to use Tsmuxer to do it, you can do the following:

Opean each .m2ts feature (seems like theres about 5?) in TSmuxer, select the video track and TRUEHD. Mux each of them to .ts, then join them together with TSSplitter. Once you've merged all of them into one .ts, create an .iso with ImgBurn. You'll get a slight stutter at the join points but other than that it should play fine.

Ps. I have a feeling TSmuxer can do a much better job, but again, i dont have any experience with that at this point.
