Rip Hard Encoded Subs From XviD ?

Is it possible to rip hard encoded subtitles from an XviD file to say an srt or some other subtitle file. Any advice much appreciated.

no it can't. subrip only works on vobsIt can also extract SRT subtitles from idx/sub files, which I found very useful (you can store a backup of all the languages existing in a DVD, and then extract to SRT the language you want).
