Movie without subtitles

Hi guys is there a way i can add my own subtitles manually to a home made movie (dvd) which has no subtitles to begin with? Thank you:)

I don't know of any editors which can output DVD subs, nor do I know of any way to convert text subs into DVD subs. Having said that, I think Aegisub is very good for creating subs from scratch.

I don't want to be rude, but if you don't know, just don't answer. In this part of doom9 forums, we are just talking about this subject. Just do a search for it in this forum or use google and you'll find plenty of explanations about this subject.

You must first create a text file corresponding to your DVD. You can use VisualSubSync for that (create an srt file). Then you can use SubtitleCreator to convert it to sup (bitmap) and then use its DVD authoring wizard to add the sup file to your home DVD.
