View Full Version : Audio is too low when capturing with Dazzle DVC 100

Hi, I'm using the Dazzle DVC 100 Capture Device with Studio 10.8, and like I said in the title, the audio coming from the capture preview window is way too low. Has anyone else had problems with this? Anyone know what could be wrong or if there's a way to raise the volume?

(The drivers I have installed are the DVC100 drivers for Vista 32 bit)

Now, I have another capture device, an ADS DVDXpressDX2 with Capwiz and the audio works fine with it. It's very loud. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to be able to encode in M-JPEG, so the video quality is not near what I'm getting from Dazzle.

That leaves me one capture device that has the video I want and one capture device that has the sound I want. If only I could get these two to join forces...

Someone please help. I've been trying to figure this out for a while. :(

Another thing is that I can't get either device to work with any other software besides the ones that it came with when I bought it. So I can't try them with Virtualdub or Adobe Premiere. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be able to work with them or not.
