While using DVDFab HDDecrypter to rip the disc it proceeded to scan the disc and read the IFO files. After about ten minutes I gave up. It never finished scanning the disc so I took the disc out and re-opened the program and tried again to no avail. I figured it must've been caught in a loop or something.

I opened up RipIt4Me and made an attempt and it successfully created the PSL, imported and ripped the disc without any hiccups. Loaded into DVD Shrink and successfully completed a back-up and it played back perfectly in my DVD player.

Once again, RipIt4Me (in conjunction with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter) succeeds where DVDFab failed. I doubt there's a better duo of rippers with a better success rate than DVDFab and RipIt4Me. -where one fails the other one usually succeeds-

Hi!

Actually, the R1 version of that DVD contains no newer or "special" copy protection (only standard CSS) and can be properly ripped, if you like, using ONLY good ol' DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 (No PSL required)

Recently, I've observed (at this forum and others) that there have been many posts indicating problems using recent versions of the several different flavors of "FengTao's" DVDFab programs, including commercial and freeware programs...

Hi hous,

For ""Before The Devil Knows You're Dead", you need disable PathPlayer then it will work.

We are waiting for the disc, and it should be fixed very soon.

Best Regards,
