While using DVDFab HDDecrypter to rip the disc it proceeded to scan the disc and read the IFO files. After about ten minutes I gave up. It never finished scanning the disc so I took the disc out and re-opened the program and tried again to no avail. I figured it must've been caught in a loop or something.
I opened up RipIt4Me and made an attempt and it successfully created the PSL, imported and ripped the disc without any hiccups. Loaded into DVD Shrink and successfully completed a back-up and it played back perfectly in my DVD player.
Once again, RipIt4Me (in conjunction with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter) succeeds where DVDFab failed. I doubt there's a better duo of rippers with a better success rate than DVDFab and RipIt4Me. -where one fails the other one usually succeeds-
