unable to view movies from hard drive

i read the guid on watching the movies from the hard drive, but i still can seem to get it to work. i think it may be due to me using a different version of windvd but i really dont know. i have windvd 8 gold and i tried to follow the instructions like it was the other one but it didnt seem to work. any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks.

What is the format of the movie that is on your hard drive?

hey,
the decrypter svaes them as disc image file (.iso)
oh and its on an external hard drive if thats relavent

The "VLC" Player can play .ISOs directly...

You can also use daemon tools to mount the .iso. I think that sounds cooler :P
