View Full Version : How to change resolution?

I've been trying to make CD-Is by using the .mpg files from DVD2SVCD and NERO. It's telling me the resolution is wrong and should be something other then 480x480. It also fails miserably when I try converting them.
Is there a way to change this in DVD2SVCD?
Simple, direct and to the point.

Yep,
the prompt says:"You are trying to create a CD-I compliant video CD. However the framesize specified on the file you requested is 480x480, the requirement for the video format is 240x380 or 288x412 or 322x460. Do you want to..." And then it asks me to choose between convert the file (which doesn't work), turn off CD-I compliance and continue anyways (which works with PowerDVD on a PC but NOT on my Toshiba DVD player) or cancel.
Strange no?
I wonder if it's possible that my Toshiba DVD player doesn't support VCDs. It does read CD-Rs as I burn music CDs all the time.
It's a Toshiba SD3205 5-Disc DVD/CD Changer. It isn't supposed to read CD-Rs but mine does as far as music CDs go. I'll have to test one of my rips at my buddy's place. His OFFICIALLY reads CD-Rs.

This program makes SVCD's. I have no idea why you are trying to create CDI's.
What are you doing with the final cue/bin files to try and create them. All you need to do it burn them using one of the cd burner software listed in the newbie guide.
What burner software are you using and if you are using Nero you do not use a templete you burn the image files.

My standalone DVD player doesn't support CD-Rs. I've tested it on my friend's APEX and it works just fine. Thanks for all the help.
