Hello,

I have a couple videos on two different DVDs and I would like to join the first and the second one, to eventually burn on one disc. What do I need to do to accomplish this task?

DVD Shrink using the re-author mode.

Thanks for the information, however in my opinion I don't believe that using the re-authoring feature in Shrink will work for this task. I am looking to accomplish more than simply reducing the size of (one) DVD, I am looking to append one with another, but I don't need the full data from the second disc, only about 15 minutes or so. Thanks anyhow!

Hey thanks "Setarip", I think this string of threads might actually be useful. I'll give it a whirl! Cheers!

You can put more than one title using Shrink. If you're looking to make 1 title out of 2, that will take some work. Are they the same aspect ratio? Do they have the same audio bitrates? You may have to reencode 1 to match the other.

With Shrink in re-author mode, you can compile as many titles you want, form various sources, and cut them where you want. However, the original menus will be lost.
