Any possible reasons for this? I have not had this problems with other movies, just this one. It's Der Untergang, PAL.

Is this the complete log? If so, the REBUILD was never completed, only the PREPARE and ENCODE. Nothing is put into the destination path until REBUILD.

Yes, that is the complete log. Any reason as to why the rebuild was never completed?

Might it make a difference backing up only movie in DVD-RB?

You need to upgrade to the latest version... there have been many, many changes since that version was released in 2006 -- and I can't really debug it. For example, that "0/0" you saw in the log was fixed long ago.

Are you running a registered version? There was a bug introduced by some poor hacking way-back-when that sounds similar to what you are seeing.

Also, try setting up for 3 click mode and just running REBUILD.

- DVD-RB v1.21.0
- AVISYNTH 2.5.5.0

You are using a very old ver of DVD-RB Pro and an old ver of AviSynth. Try upgrading to the latest ver's.

current ver's are...
Rebuilder: v1.27.3 and AVISYNTH: 2.5.7.0

Also in your log...

[02:38:43] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 9 minutes.
[02:45:13] Phase II ENCODING started

From the time space between the end of Phase I and the start of Phase II you are using "3 Click Mode".... Did you forget to click 'Rebuild"

From the time space between the end of Phase I and the start of Phase II you are using "3 Click Mode".... Did you forget to click 'Rebuild"Good observation. I think you've hit it, I don't think it did the rebuild because it was in 3-click mode and was never executed.

Also -- 571 minutes to encode? That's almost 10 hours???? My middle-of-the-road system takes about an hour and a half??? I have to guess that he must be doing way too many passes... either that or it is a very slow machine.
