As a Newb I am having difficulties trying to figure out how to get a Matroska video to WMV format.

Typically most of the videos I get are in the AVI or MPEG format and I just use Windows Media Decoder to do the job just fine.

I realize that I am going to have to do this in a few steps, but I have tried to go at this alone, and realize...I am a Newb.

Can someone guide me along please?

What are the specs of the MKV file?

What did you use to create it?

I am away from the PC that has the file right now, but it's a video in 720p HD format with 6 channels of audio. I didn't make the file.

Re-read the rules, especially rule 6. We can't help you with downloaded files. :readrule:

I didn't say I downloaded the file. However I respect the policy and understand why this would be an issue.
