I have a source 23.98fps Quicktime .mov file that I loaded into VirtualDub with the QTreader plugin. File Info shows the file at 6fps after loading into Vdub. How do I change back to 23.976 fps? I tried using ChangeFPS, but the playback is choppy. I think ConvertFPS may work, but I have not locked down the right syntax in my .avs script. What other options or tools can I use?
Thanx,

Instead QTReader... use QTSource (http://avisynth.org/QuickTime) plugin for Avisynth or QuickTime input driver (http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1055896&postcount=25) for actual VirtualDub version.

I installed the QTsource.dll into the plugins dir as instructed. I used the syntax but I am receiving an Avisynth error message and Vdub crashes. I have attached the crash report. I uninstalled and re-installed Vdub 1.78. For short while, I was able to load the .mov successfully. File info on Vdub shows the frame rate at 24.12fps which seems strange. Next, Vdub crashes again. I will try again.

What's version installed QuickTime or QuickTime Alternative?
Check this file used MediaInfo (text view mode.
If show minimum and maximum FPS - it's possible variable frame rate.
Of course You can try Avidemux instead VirtualDub.
Or DirectShowSource (require DS filters, example MP4 Splitter and ffdshow) instead QTSource.
BTW
Try QT input driver in VirtualDub - with decode mode 3, 2 or 0.
Used QTSource You can change decode mode too.
