Multi Angle Help for Single Movie

Okay I used Doom9's adivce on creating the DVD with just the movie, It's scary Movie 2 and there are two angles or whatever, but the movie plays fine except for the first two chapters. I have no idea why, starts up skips in the first 30 seconds to chapter 2, then 5 seconds later to Chapter 3, and from there its fine everything works perfect. so I have no idea, I used Doom9's guide to chapter ripping to make it work and used Ifoedit .82

okay I did just notice this but i don't know what it means, in the ifo file of the orginal in CH 01 there are two cell IDs Cell 01 and Cell 03 that have (angle 1) written next to them. And then there is Cell 02 witch has no angle listed and is 6:41.14, the exact amout that skips out, then Ch 02 has (angle 1) for 00:00:04.29 which is the amount of time it actually plays, so obviously when theres a split like that its missing that middle angle witch is the angle I ripped I believe, b/c it does the same thing in Ch 18, but not any other chapters of the movie. And in those chapters it plays fine. So I believe I ripped out the second angle and the only part of that movie there was, is the angle missing, so is it possible for me to rip just the movie here? I have no idea how to do it, any advice would help thanks.

I'm sorry, but IfoEdit can't handle that, if an angle got stripped.

But the new beta-version 0.82b takes care of angles. But you need to rip the whole movie (ALL VOB files). Then you can process it with IfoEdit.

Okay so does anyone know another way? even if I lose chapters and stuff like that? I have Scary Movie 2 and Shrek and I just want the single movie of both, so if anyone knows a away to copy them b/c thy both of crazy multiple angles.

Hey,
Just rip a single angle you need using smartripper which you can also striped streams, don't split the resulting vobs. After you have a single large VOB, do a simple re-author using DVD Quickbuilder. That's it. I've done this so many times with multi angle movies. You can even re-insert the chapter manually if you wish.

Do I have to split the VOB first? or do I just use the program to make a DVD on HD?

I'm trying to rip my first DVD using ifoEdit and my goal is to just have the movie, no extras, trailers or whatnot. The movie is Snow White and its multi angled. I have three questions. Using ifoEdit v0.82 I strip everything I need which is on VOB VTS_01_1 through VTS_01_5, all 41 ID's. Upon finishing the process I get the new IFO and VOB files. Question 1 is, because I dont need VOB VTS_01_0, is that why I dont have that file included in the new VOB folder? Or should I still have that file for it to run correctly? Question 2 is, when I look at the new VTS_01_0.IFO file, I still see that there are Angels 1 & 2. Should Angel 2 been deleted from the IFO? It still seems to stop playing when the 2nd angel starts. Question 3 is, I have kept all ID's of VTS_01_1 through VTS_01_5, which is about 4.2GB, yet after the strip theres only VTS_01_1 through VTS_01_4, and about 3.8GB. If anyone has ripped Snow White successfully any pointers would be greatly appreciated. As I am a newbie to ripping DVD for DVD-R burning, I apologize for any questions that may have already been brought up. I have done my best to search for answers on this forum the last 2 days with no luck.

Ifoedit will now work with mulitangles at all if you try and stip just the movie, thats just how its can't help you there, try and read Doom9s guides for info on dvd->dvd-r

Okay I need help with DVD quick builder, I have the demo version, I rip scary movie 2 angle 1, and I make it into 1 VOB file, and from there I try to load it into Quickbuilder but for some reason it says the file is not in VOB format, so I remuxed it, without splitting it in DVD Quickbuilder, and I had another VOB file that was huge, so then I went back an loaded it up as the DVD VOB, and now i'm trying to get it on the harddrive and its creates the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS but the vob files are nothing more then one huge VOB file for the whole movie. I'm pretty sure this isn't standard DVD format to have one huge VOB file. Any Help? does anyone use DVD Quickbuilder or know where I guide for it is? Thanks.
