I have software (and hardware) to rip Blu-ray and HD-DVDs to a hard drive which is great. However, there are some movies I would like to watch on my other TV (tube) and perhaps take with me to watch elsewhere on other TVs and devices that do not have HD players. How can I convert Blu-ray and HD-DVD files ripped (or even straight from the disk) to standard DVD files I can burn to a regular DVD-5 disk (4.7GB)? I realize the size differences but keep in mind that a program compresses DVD-9 (DL) disks to fit on DVD-5 (4.7GB) and there does not appear to be a quality difference on most regular tube TVs & portables. Is there any software that can do this? One simple program? SIMPLE step-by step instructions? Show me the light please...
