This Medion Player was cheap... but it play's anything you throw at it ! SVCD, CD-R, CD-RW, CD you name it... I'm sure that it would play a dirty plate ! Simple crack off the web also made it region free !

Now that's what I call value for money. :D

That's great, but be very careful with region free. Most new DVD's will not play in a region free player. If the DVD detects a region is not set it will simply not play. It is much better if you have a region setting that can be changed like the Pioneer DV-343 player. It is not region free, but I can set the region to whatever I want.
Region free is mostly a problem with region 1 discs.
